Project Summary
Think Global Compliance (TGC) is dedicated to enhancing multinational corporations through intelligent global compliance and strategic corporate secretarial operations in the global market. In this market, knowledge, trust, engagement, and collaboration are paramount. However, their previous website failed to reflect these vital elements. For their new website, it was imperative to incorporate and emphasize these key aspects to effectively communicate TGC's expertise and value to their audience.
Problem Statement
The existing website of Think Global Compliance suffered from being outdated, giving an unfavorable impression to visitors. Moreover, it lacked traffic, and its one-pager format made it appear cluttered and disorganized. The site failed to instill trust in its audience, leading to a lack of lead generation. To address these issues, the new website aimed to achieve significant improvements in terms of generating more leads and traffic. It focused on adopting a modern, clean, and trustworthy look and feel to establish a stronger and more positive online presence.
Research
The design solution was made following a research process, based on a competitive and creative benchmark. Once this process achieved, a mood board was created, to craft TGC's unique identity and tone of voice. Then I used basic UI/UX design principles to interact with the user and made sure it was in line with the expectations of the client.
Sketches
I find that beginning with basic sketches to brainstorm solutions is the most effective approach for me. This method allows me to generate ideas in a continuous loop and iterate rapidly. By starting with sketches, I can freely explore different design concepts and visualize potential solutions without being tied down to specific details. It fosters a creative and flexible thinking process, enabling me to quickly refine and evolve my ideas until I arrive at the most promising design solutions. The iterative nature of sketching empowers me to continuously improve and fine-tune my concepts, ensuring that I deliver well-informed and well-crafted designs that align with the project's objectives and exceed client expectations.
Visual Design
The visual design for this project struck a balance between a powerful, modern look and a sense of trustworthiness. A carefully curated color palette conveyed professionalism with inviting tones. Illustrations and iconography added personality and accessibility. Clean typography and white space enhanced readability and elegance. The design was responsive, ensuring a consistent user-friendly experience across devices, leaving a lasting impression on visitors and reinforcing Think Global Compliance's brand identity.
Conclusion
Building on a strong foundation that included a well-defined identity, illustrations, iconography, photography, and a thoughtfully selected color palette, I crafted a powerful and modern website design that maintained a clean appearance while exuding trustworthiness and approachability. Competitive research played a pivotal role in kickstarting this project, providing valuable insights that guided my design decisions.
Applying fundamental UX/UI design principles allowed me to effectively address common challenges and develop effective solutions for the final product.
The implemented solution yielded impressive results, with a notable increase in leads and users expressing high levels of trust, clarity, and insightfulness while interacting with the website. Additionally, the website was designed with search engine optimization in mind, leading to increased traffic based on analytics data.
Throughout the project, I encountered initial difficulties in devising solutions due to the limited user data available for analysis.
